The event’s inspiration is is raga, the classical music of South Asia, a musical system in which specific musical modes are designed to harmonize with specific times of day, such as sunrise, sunset, or the darkest hours of the night.

For 24 continuous hours, master raga musicians are presented alongside legends in ambient music, minimalism, jazz, and global traditions. This October, you can experience this transcendent, spiritual, music in person at Pioneer Works, in Red Hook, Brooklyn or tune in at WKCR-FM.
